Dr. Nesburn has a rare combination of unparalleled skill, excellent training and a warm compassionate style. She treats each patient as special, and takes the time to listen carefully to them.
As a third-generation ophthalmologist, Dr. Kristin Nesburn has been practicing at the American Eye Institute in the world renown Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills for over 15 years.
Dr. Nesburn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and was elected to the AOA medical honors society while getting her MD at the University of Pennsylvania. She studied internal medicine at the prestigious Stanford University Medical Center and received her specialty training at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Nesburn has conducted research on genetics and eye disease, ocular tumors, and the ocular side effects of organ transplantation, and presented it at the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), the Frederick C. Cortes Eye Society, and the Pacific Coast Oto-Ophthalmological Society. She has also co-authored several articles in Nature Genetics, Genome Research, and the Journal of Ophthalmic Nursing and Technology. Most recently she coauthored a chapter for a prestigious corneal textbook
Dr. Nesburn’s practice is located in the American Eye Institute in a state-of-the-art facility in the Cedars Sinai Medical Tower. The practice has all the latest technology for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye conditions.
